Brand Voice
Drafts that read like your writing, not like a prompt.
Paste a few paragraphs you have already published. Recast measures what can be counted — how long your sentences run and how much they vary, whether you use contractions, whether you write "we" or "you", how you punctuate — and every draft follows those rules. Nothing is trained on your writing. The sample stays yours and the measurements are shown to you in plain words.

- Sentence length, and how much it varies. Uniform sentence length is the most recognisable feature of generated prose and the one thing human writing almost never has.
- Contractions. Whether the voice writes "it's" or "it is" — the quickest read on how formal it is.
- Person. Whether it addresses the reader as "you", speaks as "we", or stays impersonal.
- Punctuation habits. Questions, exclamation marks, dashes against semicolons. A voice that never uses an exclamation mark gets a rule saying never, not a hint.
- Words you never use. A list you write yourself, passed to the writer as a hard rule.
The fact rules always outrank the voice. A house style can change how a sentence reads; it can never change whether a number in it is true.
