The hard part of clipping a podcast is not the editing, it is the listening — finding the ninety seconds in an hour that stand up on their own. No. It tells you where the clips are and what is in them; the cutting happens in whatever editor you already use. Rendering video is a different job and doing it badly would be worse than not doing it.
Then it says so. Some episodes are a steady conversation with no passage that stands alone, and padding the list with weak moments would only waste your time cutting them to find out.
Between about ten seconds and three minutes, decided by where the point actually starts and stops rather than by a target length. A moment cut to fit a number is a moment cut in the wrong place.
